The Founders’ Way & AA "12-Step"

We have started the

brick walk….

Come and See!!

We are designing a brick walk to memorialize the original Founders

 of Our Lady of the Island Shrine and

Pope John Paul II.  

So, each step will be named for each of the Twelve tribes of Israel and the Twelve Apostles descending order to the covered pavilion and   ascending from the pavilion to St. Bernadette Pilgrim Hall  will have the statue of Matt Talbot   

&  AA 12-Step Program Recovery Creed  

The walk begins from the covered walkway between Pilgrim Hall and

the Coffee Shoppe and continues on to the Picnic Pavilion. 

The entire walk will be covered with your bricks!!

  Memorialize your own family members!!!

Come into the Shrine’s office to purchase a brick to honor a Wedding, Anniversary, Baptism, Communion or other significant family event. Your own personal signature may also be inscribed.

Be creative!

Memories are everlasting — especially when they’re carved in stone! 

Bricks can be engraved with

1 - 3 lines of text, 20 spaces per line

4x8 bricks will be $50.00 each or

five bricks for $200.00

            8x8  bricks are also available for  $150.00

 Special Order Signature and Children's art 4x8 bricks for $100.00
